Rye Film Club was founded in 1998 to bring a range of ‘classic films’ to a local audience of members and guests. The very first film shown was “Brassed Off”.

The Club regularly shows films on the first Friday of the month in the Rye Community Centre, Conduit Hill, Rye.

The club has a licensed bar and some comfy seats.

The website can be found at www.ryefilmclub.org.uk. It contains an interesting history of cinema in Rye dating from 1910.

The next screening is on Friday December 6 and is the Great Gatsby, set in 1922 on Long Island and starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Doors open at 6.30pm, the film starts at 7pm.
