The detail includes the building and those who have lived there and their occupations. Andy started his research from scratch and had to learn how to carry out the work by trial and error. Now he knows how to do it, he is prepared to share what he has learnt along the way. So, the Hooe History Society invites you to come along on September 18 to learn how you can start your own research! Andy has prepared a comprehensive presentation and will be on hand to give advice and answer questions. Andy will also be bringing his home’s ‘time line’ to the meeting. So even if you are not sure if you want to try researching your own property you will find his history, which fits well into the general history of the village, fascinating.
