The Hooe Open Group is continuing to attract members, which was shown by the attendance at the annual Christmas luncheon, held at the Cooden Beach Golf Club last Friday, December 14. A small number of guests and 35 members were gathered together in a private room on the ground floor of the clubhouse. The lunch was superb, there was a choice of menu consisting of the traditional turkey, roast pork and salmon all served with a selection of the most perfectly cooked mixed vegetables and a selection of delicious desserts. As always there was a free raffle, which this year was for a large presentation basket of fresh fruit, the winner was Denise Perrin.

The next meeting will be held on the January 11, which will be a member’s only meeting, to agree the social programme for 2013, as well as any other business.
