Ninfield & Hooe Village Voice - April 18

News from Ninfield & Hooe

HOOE Open Group: A most interesting talk by Evelyn Newman about her trip to Nepal. Evelyn told how she undertook an eight-day trek during which she visited the biggest Hindu temple, had tea in several village tea houses, saw many fascinating sights and rode on an elephant.

To finish her talk Evelyn demonstrated the test of a genuine pashmina, it is if it can pass through a wedding ring. Evelyn was warmly thanked, presented with a gift and invited to join the ladies for tea.
