North Bersted cafe supports dementia patients and their carers

Our Cafe is a new pilot project recently launched by Chichester Area MIND in response to the growing need for a facility that catered specifically for people over 65 with dementia and those who care for them.

It is open between 12.30pm and 3.30pm every Thursday at The Holy Cross Church at the junction of Chichester Road and North Bersted Street.

The cafe staff, together with volunteers, provide a welcoming and caring environment where people with dementia and their carers can enjoy a light lunch and refreshments.

They also get the chance to meet and experience mutual support on a weekly basis from other members of the group and enjoy some of the activities at the cafe.

Our Cafe is open on Mondays at the same times at St George's Church Hall on Cleveland Road in Chichester.
