Badminton: The badminton clubs meet on Fridays in the Pretious Sports Hall – 5.30pm Primary, 6.30pm Secondary and 8pm adults (14+). Adults also meet at 5.45pm on Mondays. New faces (and old) very welcome, especially if it helps with the New Year’s Resolutions!

Dance Club: We also have a very friendly Dance Club meeting on Friday evenings in the Village Hall for sequence dancing. This is a very accessible way to keep fit to music, and meet people. Call Tony Pomfret - 253287 – if you are interested.

Footpath Group: The Footpath Group’s annual walk with lunch will be on Saturday (booked places only, I’m afraid!). If you are interested in walking in good company, with someone else taking charge of the map-reading or choosing the walk, contact Sue Clark (253428). The Group usually organises two walks a month in a range of locations, all of which are interesting (and often end at a pub!). Make a New Year’s resolution to discover more of our lovely countryside.
