Happy New Year: As one celebration ends, we just head for the next one! Can it really be 2015? The Millennium parties only seem like yesterday! Have a great celebration whether it’s dancing in the street with friends, or watching telly with a mug of cocoa – both can be great, depending on your mood. The Dance Club, however, will be twirling the night away in the Village Hall.

Badminton: There will be a badminton session in the Pretious Sports hall at 8pm on January 2nd, so bring your family and assorted guests along to have a run around – you can always go to the pub on the way home, feeling virtuous!

Coffee Stop: Meet up with familiar faces at Coffee Stop each Wednesday in the Church Centre between 10am and 12 noon.

Flu: Just a quick plug for the day job! The uptake of flu vaccinations for the under 65s with chronic conditions has been quite low this year. Although flu is an unpleasant but self-limiting infection in otherwise healthy people, for at risk groups it can cause serious illness and even death. If you are pregnant or suffer from asthma, COPD, diabetes, chronic heart, liver or kidney disease, you may be entitled to a free flu jab either from your surgery or from participating pharmacies. And the weather’s turning.......
