Northiam’s Royal Wedding party

A special party event will take place in and around the Village Hall, on Friday April 29, and include a subsidised barbecue, live music, games and children’s entertainment and a bar.

The special event is for Northiam residents only and runs from 3pm - 6pm.

Northiam parish clerk Sue Keighley said: “We held a meeting with various organisations in the village and following a lively discussion it was decided the occasion would be marked by a village party.

“The party will be held at the village hall so that cover is available if the weather is not kind, but all being well it is hoped that most of the activities will take place in the village hall field.

“People can feel free to bring their own picnics.”
