Oakwood School marks the Year of the Rooster

Pupils at Oakwood School in Chichester marked the year of the Rooster with a day of Chinese-themed activities.

The children took part in a Tai Chi session with a visiting instructor, and learned how to paint Chinese characters and numbers.

They also created cherry blossom cards to mark the auspicious day.

The Pre-Prep pupils also had a go at eating rice, crispy seaweed and prawn crackers with chopsticks, and ended the day with some delicious fortune cookies.

Oakwood School aims to inspire a lifelong love of learning through a broad creative curriculum that challenges and engages.
