Said Philip: "As a resident of Little Common, myself, I am well aware of the village spirit that unites the community. There is so much going on at Little Common and we intend to reflect this in words and pictures."

He added: "Nostalgia and readers' letters will also be important to Little Common Extra. It's a great opportunity for the whole village to get involved."

Little Common Extra will be available to collect from a number of outlets in the locality.

The first edition is due out during the second week of October.
