Open-house day at surgery

Doctors at West Meads Surgery are having an open-house day.

They will be holding their second annual health fair between 10am and 1pm on June 13.

A wealth of information about keeping fit and healthy will be available to everyone in the area. Working patients of the surgery will be able to have free health checks.

New for this year's event will be an art competition for children. It consists of a colouring contest for those aged between two and six and a drawing competition for seven to ten-year-olds.

Entry forms and colouring sheets are available from the surgery in The Precinct. The closing date is June 9. Entries will be displayed on the walls of the surgery's waiting room.

The winners will be announced at the health fair.
