Unfortunately, whilst we have the unfair "first past the post system", elections must be fought by its rules.
The lesson to be learned from the Northbrook result is clear, that under the present system a vote for any minority party, including Labour, however well intentioned, will in Worthing only result in the Tories needing to do nothing and then win by default.
