Can't get a handle on it

THE handle on my Dyson needed replacing. So, knowing there were discarded models down at the tip, that is where I headed.

Amazingly, the exact model was there, and so I asked one of the chaps if I could have the part I needed. The answer was no.

So, I offered to buy the part for 5. The answer was no. Apparently, things were there to be recycled.

What better way to recycle the handle than to use it as another handle?

If I had managed to buy it then I would have been happy, the staff at the tip would have had some money and been happy and the enviromentalists would have been happy.

Where has commom sense gone?
