Claire Bradford: a farewell and looking ahead
Not wanting to fall into the ‘do as I say, not as I do’ camp, I made some big streamlining decisions myself as a result of reviewing my 2014 and looking ahead with my plans for this year in business.
At the end of last year, I embarked on an exciting new project with fellow coach Cara Hooper, of Effective Thoughts.

Hide AdAfter a conversation about how we wish we’d known when we were younger a lot of the personal development stuff we know now as coaches, we decided to create a course for teenagers.
The result, Teen Building, is a four-week interactive course for teenagers to boost their resilience, confidence and wellbeing.
Our pilot ran at Worthing Homes Community House at the end of last year, and we had a lot of fabulous feedback.
We have big plans and hopes for Teen Building in 2015, including taking it into schools and clubs, as well as running open access courses throughout the year.

Hide AdMy other main focus for 2015 is to continue to coach small business owners to write their own copy through website and blogging workshops, business writers’ lock-ins and 1:1 work.
I have been approached by a training organisation to run regular copy workshops for their students, as well as scheduling in regular open access events too.
It’s all really exciting (if somewhat overwhelming!) running two big projects like this, and so my reflections at the end of last year led me to the decision to say goodbye to some of the other work I have been doing.
This column, sadly, is one of the things I have decided to stop.
