Our major event of the year The Rye Show, takes place at Salts Farm, Eaast Guldeford on Saturday August 18

There’s a horse show with classes for everyone, from Prettiest Pony and Fancy Dress to a full day of show-jumping.

The Dog Show has Novelty and Pedigree classes and displays including the Novus-Luna Wolf-Alike Acting Team, Have a Go Agility, Introduction to Showing, Children’s races with their dogs and more.

The Classic Car Show will have everything from Aston Martins and Rolls Royces to modern classics and 2012 JR Motorsports rally cars.

You will be able to enjoy the Country Fair displays from TRC Gun Dogs, parade of Hounds, magnificent Heavy Horses, and at 1pm, the Pony Grand National.

Sip at the Pimm’s Bar, down a refreshing cup of tea, enjoy the live music from the Sussex Stompers, watch your kiddies enjoy the mini-funfair and games, wander amongst the stalls selling everything from exotic chocolate confections to reclaimed timber furniture.

And whatever you do, don’t forget to buy a ticket for the Grand Raffle to be drawn at the Show - you could win an iPad, a day out for eight at Port Lympne, a whole lamb for your freezer, a super toy or luxury gift. It’s all happening at the Rye Show.

Entry is just £5 per car.
