The civic amenities refuse lorry will be in the village on Saturday at Lomas Lane from 8am - 8.25am; Ringle Green from 8.30am - 9am; Back Road from 9.05am - 9.35am; Tanyard from 9.40am - 10.20am and Sandhurst Close from 10.25am - 11am.

The next Lent courses at the Sandhurst Mission Church take place on March 25 from 7.15pm - 8.45pm and on April 8 at the same times. Refreshments will be available.

Sandhurst Horticultural Society has organised a visit to the former residence of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert Osborne House on July 11.

The day trip will cost £50 per person to include coach, ferry crossing and entry to the house, gardens and private beach.

The Burns Night Quiz at the Old School was a great success. Proceeds from the event will be used to replace the microwave oven which was stolen from the building and contribute toward re-decorating.
