Museum volunteer – Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre
Amberley Museum is a 36-acre open-air site set in the South Downs National Park dedicated to the industrial heritage of the south east. They are looking for volunteers to be involved in tasks such as: assisting traditional craftsmen with their trades, helping to marshal/run events, assisting in the shop or cafe, and helping in the office with administration. Anyone who is over 18 and is willing to give their time to help with the running of the museum would be most welcome, and you can give as much or as little time as you would like.
Volunteer fundraiser – Safe in Sussex (Worthing Women’s Aid)

Hide AdSafe in Sussex (Worthing Women’s Aid) provides refuge accommodation for women and their children fleeing domestic abuse. Refuge workers provide both practical and emotional support to women, and children’s workers deliver one-to-one sessions to the children in refuge. It provides support and aims to empower women throughout a better understanding of domestic violence, helping them recognise potential future abuses and abusers. They are seeking an enthusiastic volunteer fundraiser to organise community fundraising events, working alongside the fundraising and marketing manager or independently.
Shop assistant (Rustington and Littlehampton) – Link to Hope
Link to Hope is a Christian charity based in Worthing, established since 1991, who rebuild lives and communities in Eastern Europe through social care and education projects. They are looking for volunteers to work as part of a warm welcoming team in their shops in Rustington and Littlehampton. There are a number of roles within the shop, whether you have budding creative skills for displaying and making up outfits, or have a passion for books, music or china, preparing and merchandising all types of stock as well as serving and talking to customers. They would love you to come and join the team and give them a hand.
Treasurer/trustee – Littlehampton Shopmobility

Hide AdLittlehampton Shopmobility exists to ensure that people with mobility problems enjoy their shopping experience and help to maintain their independent lives. They provide the hire and sale of wheelchairs and scooters and the sale of items to improve the quality of life of those with a disability. They are looking for a treasurer to join their friendly board of trustees. You will be required to use the SAGE system, bank monies, attend four to six weekly board meetings with a report on the finances and to attend the AGM with all the relevant paperwork and answer any questions from members as required.
