Hide AdHelp running IT club/silver surfers’ group – Angmering Community Centre Association
Angmering Community Centre Association provides IT training for beginners at present and would now like to offer a chance for those who have completed some training to continue using what they have learned in a club atmosphere – a silver surfer type group.
Ideas for activities they could be given to improve keyboard skills and understanding of the laptop would be useful, as would ideas on how to use the internet – shopping, banking, interests, finding information and so on.
People with knowledge of smart phones/tablets would be very helpful.
Treasurer – Sussex Steel

Hide AdSussex Steel is a charity created by individuals who are passionate about steelpan and committed to increasing the musical opportunities for people in Sussex and beyond.
They teach steelpan in schools and workshops, and run several bands.
They are looking for someone to look after the financial aspects of the charity and be the main contact with their accountants.
Duties will include: expenses, payments, banking, wages and cash flow.

Hide AdThe role would suit someone with experience of financial accounting, ideally with a charity, and can be carried out in your own home; although you will be required to attend monthly trustee meetings.
Museum steward – Arundel Museum Society
Arundel Museum was founded in 1964. It is an independent, accredited, museum run totally by volunteers who are members of Arundel Museum Society.
They are looking for stewards for throughout the museum.
The front of house steward is responsible for meeting and greeting members of the public, dealing with tourist information enquiries and taking money for admissions and items sold in our shop.
The steward in the museum is responsible for meeting and greeting visitors to the museum, checking their ticket and giving information with regard to the exhibits and answering any other questions they may have.

Hide AdTraining will be given but receptionist skills and an interest in local history would be an advantage.
Office administrator – Crossroads Care South Central
Crossroads is a national network of local charities employing over 5,000 trained professionals and helping over 35,000 people.
They are the UK’s leading provider of support for carers and the people they care for.
They are in need of a volunteer to input data from report forms and survey responses onto their system.

The vacancy is in their office at Climping, and they will pay travel expenses.
