Fight for Cherries
As the Treasurer of the Cherries Association which supports extra events for the children at the Cherries, I find it incredible that they want to close such a vital service to the families who use it.
We are not a large organisation, and all our donations are normally from friends, relatives and families who support us.
With NHS approval, we have just spent over £25,000 refurbishing the garden area for the children, from what was a waste area into something for them to use.
What a waste of funds.
I am totally against this closure, and intend writing to the local MP for his support.
