Fun in the sun raises funds

ANOTHER huge pat on the back for the charitable souls of Aldwick, who have once again triumphed in raising money for deserving causes.

This time the efforts were to put on a musical afternoon, Fun in the Sun with Ricky Rayner, at the bandstand on the prom and the event was a massive success.

Ricky, who plays the flute beautifully, was accompanied by the Colleen Shepherd Singers and Pip Turner on guitar, with superb individual singing performances from Dick Noir, Steve Jays, Paul Williams and Shane Holmes.

In total we raised £638.44 for assorted charities, including Trousers for Africa and The Gary Backhouse Foundation. Again, many, many thanks.
