Hope to trace pair of good samaritans

I AM writing this letter in the hope that the two people concerned might be traced, so that I can give them my very grateful thanks.

On March 1, Orient Road, Lancing, was flooded and that morning I had just collected my old age pension.

I tried to jump over a wide stretch of water to the kerb, but fell.

I lay there paralysed with a broken hip, when a car slowly pulled up and a gentleman driver got out, followed by a car with a lady driver (both seemed to have come from West Way to the Broadway crossroad).

They struggled for about half an hour to get me up and out of the water, to fit me into the gentleman's front seat.

Then they both drove me to my address and carried me in to my front door so I could ring for an ambulance and they stayed with me.

The two persons described above were in the tradition of good samaritans.

I do hope they can be traced.
