I am pleased to see that they had the good sense, however, to move it away from the front of the cafe.

We protesters did make some difference, then.

I am still saddened by this but hope that none of my fears come to fruition.

May I ask that park users ensure that they report anyone cycling in a dangerous manner so that they can be stopped before they cause an accident.

I know that the majority of cyclists are sensible but I had a near miss the other day whilst driving that proves not all are.

I was stopped at the lights by the Odeon cinema in Hastings, the lights changed to green and I pulled away but, as I did so a woman cyclist flew out of the pedestrianised area straight across the front of me.

Had I not braked quickly I would have hit her and luckily, there was no-one close behind me.
