LETTER: Charity ball was a triumph
The evening got under way with Scottish piper Ian White, and was followed by a lovely three-course meal. During the evening, a variety of fundraising events took place, there was live entertainment including brilliant local magician Kristopher Singh, and EODS performed a medley of old-time singalong favourites. The packed room danced the night away to the brilliant Tempo One band.
There was also a great raffle and silent auction, with many local business providing some marvellous raffle prizes. The evening raised more than £4,000 for the Mayor’s chosen charities Refuge and the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

Hide AdI’d like to also thank Pat and her husband Phil for all the hard work they have put in over the past year. As well as being an outstanding councillor, Pat has attended many, many charitable events this year and has raised well over £10,000, which Eastbourne should be extremely proud of.
