LETTER: Extremely anti-social behaviour
The closure of Station Street due to the discovery of a void has not stopped the bin lorry that drives down it from the top, through the no entry signs, every Friday and Monday mornings at around 4.30 am.
After collecting rubbish from the back of White Hart Hotel, it then reverses back up to the High Street again, with the warning beepers sounding, waking up myself and other residents of Station Street as regular as clockwork.
Quite apart from the traffic violation, this is extremely antisocial behaviour from a driver or drivers who presumably cannot be bothered to go round the one-way system.
