LETTER: Figures for VAT

In my letter last week '˜Urgent need for innovation' I gave a figure of Â£15bn pa, for amount of UK VAT taken by the EU.

That should have read £15.4 bn over seven years (2007 to 13 inclusive) averaging £2.2bn pa. Apologies for that.
