LETTER: Ice rink is fun experience

We are near neighbours of Camping World's Indoor New Ice Rink at Horsham.

Being pensioners, we are not into skating, but what an uplifting experience it was to spend some time there watching local families having a good time!

This enterprising facility, next to Hillers Garden Centre, is such a good idea for winter time activity, so children can exercise in a fun way, or even just have a cuppa and cake, as we did. The noise level outside was minimal, which I doubt would affect neighbours, who are sensibly indoors staying warm at this time of the year.

We were told that once the camping season starts in March, the extensive tent display will have returned to that site. I hope they have the opportunity to make this a permanent winter time facility for the benefit of the families of Horsham.

We wish them well in their new venture and the upcoming Christmas festivities.
