LETTER: Our footpath reduced to mud
We’ve spoken to Highways and they agree it’s in bad condition but it doesn’t meet their ‘criteria’ of 25mm deep. We have measured parts and it is 25mm plus in parts of it .
All this money has been spent on Hailsham town centre, but in our neighbourhood we have to walk in dirt and water on a pathway that’s uneven and with very badly worn away surfaces. Also, all the paths around this area are in very bad condition and have not been maintained for years.
