LETTER: Praise for all who help after crash

On December 15 I unfortunately had a serious accident in Janes Lane, Burgess Hill, at approximately 7.30pm. No other vehicle was involved.

I would like to thank the lady who contacted the emergency services and all the people who stopped to see if help was needed.

The police and paramedic arrived and were most efficient. Unfortunately I cannot recall the name of the paramedic who, after a check up, took me to the Princess Royal Hospital. The staff there saw me straight away. One of the police officers kindly went to our home to advise my husband what had happened.

I cannot praise them all enough for the very professional way they dealt with this incident.

Fortunately I was not seriously hurt.
