LETTER: Who and why did they do this we wonder?
At last Wealden did get something right.
They refused permission for the building of three hideous wind turbines at Shepham on the Ersham Road, but were sadly overridden by a planning inspector. Who and why, us simple, ignorant locals wonder?
Unfortunately they are such an eyesore that many of the motorists using the Polegate by-pass and Golden Jubilee Way will not be concentrating on safely navigating the roundabouts on the A27 and Dittons but will be staring into the middle distance at the whirling monsters.
Sadly, I should imagine the number of accidents around the area will at least quadruple over the next few years... Progress?
