LETTER: Wild flowers

Councillor Janet Baah is right in her description of how the different authorities approach grass cutting in the town.

However, there is yet another level of management to take into consideration, which is that in some areas, particular care is given to the growth of wild flowers, where cutting them before seed dispersal is discouraged.

Wildflower Lewes is a group of residents who are creating patches of wild flower growth throughout the town in order to help bees and butterflies find their way through “green corridors”.
