A contradiction in policy here

Why is it that foreign leaders seem to think that they know more about Britain’s history than us Brits who are born and live here?

We had President Obama, recently advocating that Britain stays in the European Union and now we have the Chinese President Xi Jinping saying the same.

President Xi probably knows a lot about Chinese history but I doubt he knows anything of 1066, Guy Fawkes, the English Civil War or the hundreds of hoops through which our small businesses have to jump to obey the EU’s rules and red tape.

In both cases these two leaders have been closely hosted by the PM, Mr Cameron, who has obviously expressed his desire to remain in the EU; I doubt that any Brexit voices have reached their ears during their visits.

Furthermore, President Xi, has signed a multi billion pound contract with the UK; not with the EU but with the UK.

There is a contradiction here.

Either Britain is a reliable paying client on the world stage or not.

Well obviously we are otherwise the deal would not have been signed.

The signature is not on an EU contract with Britain as their receptive puppet but direct with the UK.

What more evidence is needed to prove that Britain is well capable of trading globally outside the EU’s talons?
