Hide AdFirst time director Charlotte Eastes admitted underestimating him, saying she thought it a ‘straightforward play’ but was proved wrong.
My misgivings were also proved wrong, Charlotte and the cast obviously worked hard and gave a thoughtful, well-paced performance with some hilarious interludes courtesy of Peter Spencer playing four waiters.
I have not been to many of the Fairlight Players productions, but after my first visit, three years ago, I look out for them now.
