I was churchwarden at the time and was very sad that this was the case.
We had had a volunteer willing to come out for visitors and the phone number was displayed in the porch, but ill health prevented this continuing.

But happily there is now an alternative. The volunteers who do flowers and other jobs around the church will now be there every Friday morning from 10 to 12. They welcome visitors and offer tea and a biscuit. Or of course people are welcome any Sunday to a service at 11am.
We do hope we will see you.
