Amberley School Summer Fete

The star attraction was a traditional traction engine from Amberley working museum.
The children were able to learn about the engine and also get a good look at the inside of it as well.

Hide AdWe had a great range of traditional stalls this year with pony rides, apple bobbing, giant Jenga, beat the goalie and hook-a-duck.
We also had a bouncy castle for the little ones. We sold lots of raffle and tombola tickets and held an auction. Thanks to local businesses in Amberley, Storrington and Arundel and parents, we had some amazing prizes.
These included afternoon tea at Amberley castle, an overnight stay at West Ham United hotel and meals at local pubs to name but a few. Takings from the fete will leave us with a £1300 profit which is fantastic.
We will be putting this towards refurbishing the play area for the younger children outside their classroom and for the older children we would like to purchase some electronic tablet devices.
Thanks again for everyone’s support - a great day was had by all!”
