Angels to rescue

Travelling along the pavement near the entrance to St Joseph’s Church, Rustington, the slope across the footpath becomes extremely steep, so steep, indeed, that it tipped wheelchair and me over sideways.

I had no means to help myself, strapped to the wheelchair with my head down the slope.

Three men appeared, like angels, and set me back up safely.

I said thank you, of course, but would like to use these means thank those three Asian gentlemen most sincerely for coming to my rescue – an old man in trouble with his electric wheelchair on bank holiday Monday afternoon.
