Awards success for Horsham volunteer group

The Earles Meadow Conservation Group in Horsham has been recognised again this year in the Southern Water/ South & South East in Bloom Awards ceremony held at American Express Community Stadium at Brighton.

The group were awarded Silver Gilt in the Conservation Area category for its work on the public open space at Earles Meadow and achieved Level 5 “Outstanding”, for the second consecutive year, for its community work in the RHS/S&SEiB “ It’s Your Neighbourhood” class.

The awards were presented by Chis Collins, celebrity gardener, and Tom Hart Dyke of the World Garden at Lullingstone Castle

Group leader Robert Brown said “I am delighted. The Group have put in hours of dedicated work for the benefit of the community and it is rewarding to have these significant acknowledgements”.
