I WOULD like to say a big thank-you to Raire Hairdressers for a fabulous night at The Littlehampton Academy on Friday. An audience of over 250 people shared in their celebrations of 21 successful years of trading in Littlehampton.

The academy was very pleased to be able to host the hair and beauty extravaganza. Our design and technology teacher, Mr Stepney, even got a makeover!

The proceeds of the evening will be going to support the work of Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice and the academy’s Sri Lanka Schools appeal, providing libraries for schools still recovering from the Boxing Day, 2004, tsunami. A group of our students will be back in Sri Lanka in April, 2011, to put the funding to good use.

Well done to Richard, Sue, Gemma, Jordan, Will and all of the teams across the three salons. We look forward to working with you again.
