Cheap at half the price
I AM writing in favour of the Longest Bench project. I think it is an excellent idea and one that should be supported by all who wish to see our town motto of "progress" made a reality.
Here is an example of the government, the council, local volunteers and local schoolchildren joining together for the good of the community.
I support it wholeheartedly '” and it is 50 per cent cheaper than the 1m it was originally to cost!
