Cranleigh Lions have supported Rowleys for several years by donating some of the proceeds of the show, which is held at the Cranleigh Showground, and this year was no exception.

Michael said: “Cranleigh Lions are always pleased to be able to support Rowleys and this year we were able to do so with a donation of £2,000 from the net profits of the car show.”

Rowleys manager Christine Napthine added: “We are delighted that the Cranleigh Lions continue to support us in this way. Lions members know how much the money means to Rowleys and its clients who rely so much on the services we provide. We rely heavily on fundraising and donations. We are hoping to make some improvements to our snack bar with the money this year.”

Rowleys in Victoria Road, Cranleigh would love to receive any cooking apples from people who may have more than they need – these will be used to make puddings for older people in the community who come to Rowleys for lunches. Rowleys is open 9.30am to 3pm weekdays – phone 01483 277155. Thank you.
