Don’t let another disaster happen

Absolute madness, an open invitation to a crazed hijacker to crash a plane into Dungeness Power Station, another Chernobyl?

Why on earth do this when the infrastructure is already in place at Marsden North Kent and when they are enlarging Heathrow?

Why not do a catch 22 and save hijackers the trouble and blow up the power station ourselves?

It would be timely to read John Howlett’s Maximum Credible Accident and to show in cinemas all around the country Hiroshima Mon Amour showing the sickening live footage of the after effects of the first atomic bomb.

Forgotten perhaps but most apt at this time. Or, the wonderful satirical Dr Strangelove.

At a time when efforts are being made to ban nuclear weapons this could trigger another Cold War.

Big money no doubt for road builders and hoteliers but ruining a beautiful part of Kent.

Big business needs to come to its senses.

Your dreams and plans could end in a glorious mushroom cloud.
