Eco-Town '“ so many

WITH regard to the Ford Eco-Town, what constitutes social housing?

A spokesman for the project on Meridian television news claimed that in Arun only around 30 such houses were being built each year, but we all know that since November, 2007, and any day now, 40-plus flats will have been completed within a stone's thrown of the railway station, which I thought met the description, as they are part sale, part rent, and for public service employees.

It was suggested to me that social housing meant property for rent '” perhaps this could be clarified.

Just how close is this new town site to the watermeadows?

And where does West Sussex County Council stand on the development, in view of its proposal to construct an incineration plant, or is this part of the plan?
