Some residents may have received a consultation form from the Lewes council with the proposition of turning these grassy areas into a town green so that they will belong to the people forever and no building will be allowed to be built there (remember when the council wanted to build eight-storey office blocks on the promenade).
These application forms are quite daunting but they really need to be filled in and returned.
Each one will be very important.

If so contact me any afternoon on 01424 211808 or I will be in the Pop In in Devonshire Road from 9 am to 10.15am every morning to give out maps and advice.
I shall be very happy to help. Remember, your efforts now could affect the lives of generations to come.
