Can I please encourage people in the Littlehampton, Worthing and surrounding areas to join their local www.freecycle.co.uk group?
There are very well-established groups all around here which allow you to offer items that you would otherwise take to the dump but really are too good for the dump and someone else may well have a use for.
You can also ask for items that someone may be about to take to the dump but you are in need of. Everything has to be for free, whether you ask or offer items.
I have done it for three years and have got to know the area so much better, plus made some great friends. You are helping the environment and avoiding landfill.
