Freeze for all?
Arun District Council cabinet member for the environment Paul Dendle (Gazette letters, July 18), is, of course, very important to our community, but so, too, is the worker who can be sacked or tied to a two per cent wage increase or have his or her wages frozen.
I’m not exactly sure, but I do not know of any local, or county councillors who have been made to take freezes. I know some have been ousted, but I would like to know if any have been subject to the same cuts as all the rest.
After all, if we are ‘all in it together’, this surely should happen.

Hide AdAs Mr Dendle says, we have been going through a period of austerity, which is all the more reason for us all to pull together, to get our country out of this mess.
If I am wrong, perhaps I will be put right by someone.
