Generous support for Marie Curie
May I, through your letters page, thank the very generous people of Horsham who contributed to the Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal. Over three Saturdays we collected the wonderful sum of almost £4,000 with more from other collections still to be counted.
I would also like to pay tribute to the wonderful volunteers who stood out in all weathers to make this possible. Thank you very much. These contributions will help our nurses to provide high quality hands on nursing care for terminally ill people in their own homes, together with vital emotional support for patients and their families at that very difficult time.
