On what will hopefully be a glorious summer’s evening just before the longest day of the year, visitors will be able to experience the magic of the Parham’s gardens as dusk descends on this idyllic setting on Friday 19th June between 6.00-9.00pm.

With a glass of chilled Prosecco in hand, they will be able to stroll along the spectacular herbaceous boarders in the four-acre 18th century Walled Garden and admire the vegetable garden, the long greenhouse full of tender plants and the adjoining Pleasure Grounds.

There will be ‘live’ music in the The Walled Garden from ‘The Jazz Smugglers’ and Head Gardener, Tom Brown, will be there to meet and talk to guests.

Entry will be £5 per person, with glasses of Prosecco and soft drinks available at an additional cost.

Tickets will be available on the gate and the Plant & Garden Shop will be open selling over 200 varieties of herbaceous perennials, all grown at Parham.

Commented Lady Emma Barnard, Chatelaine of Parham House & Gardens, “As the light fades on one of the longest days of the year, this should be really magical evening in our gardens.

“The live music from the locally-based Jazz Smugglers band will add to this special atmosphere and at this mid season time, the herbaceous borders and garden produce are in full growth with early summer colour and scents in abundance.”
