Help with the animals

THANK you for publishing the article 'Couple's drive to rescue animals' about our animal / wildlife rescue work (Bexhill Observer, December 24). It covered what we are doing accurately and we hope it may lead to some donations of unwanted food to help feed the animals in our care.

However, it was stated in the article that we can deliver donations on a weekly basis. Chris and I would like to make clear that it was meant to state that we can collect on a daily or weekly basis from any bakers, greengrocers etc willing to help.

At present we have approximately 50 rescued animals, so any donated food would be very gratefully received. If we end up in the fortunate position of having more than we can use we can pass any surplus to Barby Keel’s Animal Sanctuary.

We also have garage sales to help cover our costs, so if anybody has any bric-a-brac, carboot leftovers, etc please give us a ring.
