Horsham charity takes in ‘hot cross’ bunnies

Three ‘Easter’ bunnies are being looked after by a wildlife charity after being found abandoned in Rudgwick. The rabbits, less than two months old, were found huddled and alone in the corner of a resident’s paddock.

They are now being taken care of by Tarnya Knight, wildlife carer for Horsham charity Care for the Wild.

“I’ll be looking after them for a few days, making sure they are all healthy, then we’ll release them back to where they came from,” said Tarnya. “They get a bit grumpy with me, so that’s why we’ve called them our Hot Cross Bunnies! But they’ve been through the mill so it’s not surprising. They’ll be fine though.”
