I support the NHS staff strike

Last week you asked do you support the strikes by Paramedics and NHS staff?

My answer is yes 100%.

Approximately a month ago I received Hospital treatment at Eastbourne DGH. The care I received from all Health Professionals I had the good fortune to come into contact with was exceptional.

I think their pay deal offer is a disgrace. If our greedy grasping Members of Parliament can except an offer of 10% should they not be leading by example?

People have more respect from those who lead by example and Government is not leading the way on pay restraint.

As a retired person I still carry a union card as a gesture of support to present union members.
