Every time a road is dug up by BT, gas, water, electricity companies or whoever, WSCC should not sign off the job until the surface has been replaced to the same quality as it was before and the repairs should be guaranteed.
A classic example of poor repairs is the A264 after the Kilnvale development and on to the A2220, someone spent months digging a long trench in lane one but failed to return the road to a smooth surface.
